Jax Hamilton, runner-up in Masterchef 2011, is coming to Pen-y-bryn Lodge Oamaru for an evening of cooking demonstration, conversation and conviviality on Saturday 20AUG from 5.30pm. While Jax may not have won on the night, she won the hearts of many who watched her prepare her amazing dishes, and the Lodge’s hosts think it’s fair to say that her food won her many fans around the country.

AUT University to Go Smoke Free

Marlborough weather wet and warm in May

May was a month of two halves weather-wise. For the first 16 days we reached for our umbrellas more often than usual but kept our woollen coats in the cupboard as very high rainfall and strikingly warm temperatures dominated.
